Welcome from our principal

I warmly welcome you to our school.

Terranora Public School is known for its care for every child and a continued striving for excellence for all. With approximately 260 students from Kindergarten to Year 6, we are proud of our small community feel, and positive school culture.

Our teaching staff are highly experienced and experts in the field, ensuring students engage in explicit teaching across the curriculum. Students are supported to set learning goals and maintain high expectations of themselves as learners.

A range of opportunities are offered to students in addition to their daily learning in classrooms. These opportunities see our students engage in extra curricular dance, sport, music, leadership, choral speaking and other activities. We value the efforts of our students and share their achievements widely amongst our school and broader community.

We work closely with our parents, carers and wider school community including our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) and the local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG). We hold strong ties with our local high school, Banora Point High School, and are proud members of the Aurora Learning Community (Banora Point High School, Terranora Public School, Centaur Public School).
