Each year the NSW Department of Education and Community recognises employees and students whose service and achievement has been exemplary. Terranora Public School is proud to announce that Mrs Mary Seckold; classroom teacher, and Mr Roeland Van Moseveld; general assistant, were selected as recipients of the 2011 Regional Director's Awards for Excellence. Student Caitlin Woods and School Administrative Manager Mrs Diane Casey were also nominated for awards in their respective categories. Although they were not successful, Terranora recognises them for their significant contributions to the school.
The awards were presented to Mrs Seckold and Mr Van Moseveld at a ceremony which was held at Mullumbimby Public School on Thursday 4th August. The Regional Director, Mr John Willams, presented the awards in the presence of many DEC personnel and their friends and families.
